| The Electra-Furl system is for new installations (MEJ), and retro-fit (RMEJ) The system comprises of a 12 or 24 volt furling unit that is installed over the wire or rod stay, a "Boxtron" electrical box operated by a remote switch, and, in the case of the MEJ, a foil system and halyard swivel.
Existing manual systems can be easily converted by using an adapter. In this way, the foil and halyard swivel from the original system are retained. Adapters are available for all sizes of Furlex, Harken, Hood, Profurl, Reckmann, and Schaefer systems. |
