| "Crociera"
The name "Crociera" means "Cruising" in Italian, and was given to this range of furling systems to differentiate it from the no longer produced "Ragatta", racing series. Available in six sizes, and for boats from 25' to 70', these rugged and durable systems represent the high quality of construction and design for which Bamar is rapidly gaining an enviable international reputation. "Crociera" systems use the original stay, and there is provision to incorporate a turnbuckle if fitted. The drum is a rugged one-piece unit that is not designed to be removed for racing, and which, like the halyard swivel, utilizes a double row of Delrin bearings to minimize maintainence and ensure long-life, trouble-free performance. Foil sections consist of aerodynamically designed, high quality anodized extrusions that are joined by tough and secure connector sections. Halyard swivels are beautifully machined from solid aluminum, unlike those on other systems that are cast or utilize welded construction.
